Regular Snow Vacancy Policy
Except in extreme snow emergencies, we will be teaching when Fairfax County schools open late, close early or are closed all day. If you cannot get to your lesson due to the snow and would like an alternative, you must call as early as possible before your lesson time and let us know you are missing your lessons due to the snow. When you cannot make it to your lesson due to snow, your time slot becomes a "Snow Vacancy." So when you call early, you allow us to use your time otherwise; for example, we can offer a later time student (who may not blocked in by snow, but is worried about icy night driving) your earlier time. In that case, we will provide either: a snow-group lesson during the summer term with other students of a similar level a summer lesson to replace the snowed out lesson.
If you do not call before your lesson time or by noon, whichever is earlier, you restrict our use of that time, therefore no alternative will apply to you.
